East Vancouver Colourful Sunset Portrait
This beautiful lady is one of my very good friends and the first lady that took a chance on my photography skills. Back in 2009, when I had a 9-5 office job using my Communications and Journalism degrees, before I even came close to knowing I’d want to pursue this business as a career or genuinely had an idea how much I would love doing what I do for a living, before I spent six months backpacking around Europe and falling in love with photography more and more each day, this gorgeous lady let me take photos of her several times and practice what little I knew then on her. Since then, I have photographed her several times over the years and she will forever remain one of my favourite subjects. This time around when we did our photoshoot, we decided to use some beautiful East Vancouver scenery and the stunning sunset and have some fun right at golden hour. I am pretty crazy about taking my couples out just before sunset lately, when the light is soft and golden and there’s romance in the air. I’d say that night, we most definitely got lucky. I love Vancouver, it never disappoints us. Thanks Steffi, for once again letting me practice my craft on you ;)
