North Vancouver Pinnacle Hotel and Pier 7 Restaurant + Bar Fall Wedding.

I’m so happy to finally have the time to upload some beauties from a gorgeous North Vancouver wedding I shot in October. I love shooting anywhere around the Quay from the Lonsdale Quay itself to Pier 7 Restaurant, to the neighbouring streets and the beautiful Pinnacle Hotel. On this day, I was lucky to shoot at all of these stunning locations. :)

While I met Cara many many years ago at a friend’s party, we only connected again when I met her to talk about photographing her wedding. We reconnected instantly … she’s one of the most easygoing brides I’ve worked with thus far and so stunning and easy to photograph. Both Cara and Brian and their beautiful bridal party were so very photogenic and pretty much kept me laughing throughout the day. I am always amazed by how much fun I have photographing weddings and particularly bridal parties. While I literally meet most bridal parties on the day of the wedding, I love having an instant connection and laughing along with them when funny moments are captured. I also love showing photos as I take them, often finding that it puts people at ease and makes them a lot more comfortable. This way, they relax with me and I get an idea of the style of photos they like and what kind of poses I can get them to do ;)

Some funny moments were definitely captured at Cara and Brian’s wedding alongside a whole lot of love. The light was stunning throughout most of the day (seriously, can’t believe how lucky we got!) and October colours surrounded us. Pier 7 Restaurant was amazing as usual, with delicious food, stunning views and gorgeous sunsets (I kept making references throughout the night that the view looked like a backdrop!). Oh and on a sidenote, how stunning is Cara’s wedding dress? I seriously fell in love the instant I saw it. Kleinfeld Bridal succeeds once more … it’s a definite yes to the dress ;)
