Gambier Island DIY Wedding
DIY Fall Wedding Romance on Gambier Island
I am so happy to finally have the time to sit down and share teasers – though a bit delayed – from last week’s absolute of a stunner of a wedding at Camp Fircom on Gambier Island. I have known Dejo for many, many years and was so happy when I was asked to photograph his and Julia’s wedding day. I was even more excited as I was getting more and more information throughout the planning process and by the time the wedding came, the excitement and eagerness was at a high .. :) It was a rainy week-end (complete with the most rambunctious boat ride of my life!) but a beautiful, loving week-end, where I got to catch up with a whole lot of wonderful people. There was a canoe, a pig roast, greenery as far as the eye can see, stunning views, DIY touches throughout the entire camp, tears of joy and a very intimate group of family and friends spending the week-end celebrating the love of two very special people. The outfit touches and the stunning bridal bouquet made of leaves collected from around East Van were so creative and so very beautiful. To say I adore this wedding is an understatement. It is an absolutely stunning day and so are these two. We had such a wonderful time at their engagement session – where they chose to go skiing in their Sunday best – and had an even better time last week-end. I can’t wait to continue editing, for now, here are some of my favourite teasers of the day. Thank you to Shauna Danielle Photography for being a huge help!
A big congratulations to two very special people who couldn’t be more right for each other! Thank you SO much for the wonderful trust you put in me. I cannot wait to share more images and share in these memories with you…
