Vancouver Wedding Photographer Granville Island Winter Wedding Sneak Peaks

I met Susan a few years ago through a good friend of mine and have run into her from time to time at parties. I have always loved her happy, joyful personality. When she  emailed me inquiring about my availability in photographing her January wedding, I was ecstatic! I love winter weddings and I especially loved that I had already developed a connection with Susan over the years.

We did their engagement session at the very picturesque Trout Lake during another gorgeous Vancouver fall season. As we walked around the park together and talked about their wedding, I knew we’d have so much fun on their wedding day! The engagement session was so great and gave us the opportunity to work together ahead of time. It also gave me the wonderful opportunity to really get to know Mike, who is quite funny and has such a wonderful energy! I adore how much he makes Susan laugh and how silly they are together.

Their wedding day was absolutely stunning. I absolutely loved spending the day with their family and friends celebrating their love.  More than anything, I am so grateful for the opportunity to create these memories for them! Their ceremony was held at the Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Vancouver and their reception at Granville Island’s beautiful Dockside Restaurant. I can’t wait to edit their full wedding – in the meantime, some beautiful teasers!
