Romantic + Intimate Granville Island Wedding
It’s been ages since I blogged (no matter how many times I tell myself I’ll blog regularly, life gets in the way). On the one hand, this means that weddings keep me a very busy girl! On the other, blogging each wedding is so very important and I vow (once more) to do more of it!
Leanne and Conor had a stunning wedding with their closest family and friends. It was so beautiful watching how much their friends love and adore them both … the day was so full of love and wonderful energy. Bridges was such a romantic choice of a wedding venue (and so picturesque!).
For their first look, we went to Vanier Park and the surrounding area and the scenery didn’t disappoint! With remnants of the haze still in the air, the light was softly diffused, providing for a cooler day and beautiful imagery. Across the water, the Pride Parade was in full swing, adding an extra buzz in the air and great dots of happy energy throughout the photos. To say Leanne’s dress is stunning is an understatement – it was absolutely beautiful! The oversize flowers added extra romance to such an already beautiful look! Her make up and hair gave her look a bit of a Gatsby feel and I couldn’t be happier about it! I think sometimes my excitement for a bride’s look on the wedding day surprises the bride’s (if that’s possible).
Ohhh and to finish off the wedding, Leanne and her friends surprised her mother with an awesomely entertaining flash mob rendition of Dancing Queen! Soooo fun, I seriously didn’t know where to photograph and WHO to photograph as so much was going on around me! Below are some of my favourite images from the day (how do I pick?!?).
