Brock House Wedding, Vancouver … Ahhhhhh, finally .. on so many levels! :) I’ve known Lauren and Colin for about eight years and back then, there’s no way I ever dreamed that one day I’d be the one to photograph the most special day of their lives. Then again, if you asked me back then, little did I know I’d be a wedding photographer in Vancouver and would be photographing anyone’s special day! Life has a really funny way of pointing you in the right direction and I’m so happy (and blessed) to have found mine. As I keep saying, to be surrounded by so much beauty all the time is a special thing. And let me tell you, there was SO much beauty at this wedding. From the getting ready moments at Chateau Granville in Vancouver to the gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception at Vancouver’s renowned Brock House Restaurant, the beauty was never-ending. Lauren put so much incredible love and thought into every detail and it showed. Her style is so soft, unique and elegant and the whole wedding was so full of charm and intimacy .. it was truly special. The Brock House did their part in making the whole day magical .. oh side note, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to photograph a wedding at the Brock House Restaurant as it’s one of the more sought after places for both couples and photographers in Vancouver .. and now I just want to go back! Gorgeous old building, rustic scenes, beach right next door, what more could a Vancouver wedding photographer want? The Brock House sort of has it all ;)
