Today was my first wedding of 2014 and WOW what a beautiful day! Gorgeous weather and amazing energy for the bride and groom (seriously, these two are always smiling at each other and everyone around them) and beautiful images for me. And oh wow, did I miss shooting the beauty and elegance present at weddings .. I’m even more looking forward to all the craziness that 2014 will offer me shooting weddings in Vancouver and the surrounding areas! Oh and maybe not so surrounding as I have two destination weddings, one in Mexico and one in Quebec!!! More to come on that later ;) But first, Samantha and Matt are adorable beyond belief and I’m so very lucky to have been recommended to them by not one, but two different people! I love referrals as I’m usually bound to run into a previous client or the couple is friends with someone I photographed in the past .. it’s nice to have that connection. Vancouver wedding photographers often rely on that and I’m so happy to start to book more and more weddings based on referrals. For now, here are a few (okay, maybe more than a few) teasers from today’s elegant and so very intimate day! We had so much fun together and the entire bridal party were such amazing sports while they pretty much froze during the formal photos :) But the images are lovely and I thank you guys for withstanding the cold! Oh and the gorgeous fog .. sigh! :)
