I met Heather and Johnny through one of my 2013 brides and we hit it off instantly. After numerous emails back and forth a friendship developed and I knew we’d work well together .. life is a funny thing. When Heather first messaged me, she was inquiring about a date I had already booked a wedding on .. somehow through trying to find them another photographer, circumstances led to them changing their wedding date and me being able to do it .. and I was a happy girl. As photographers know, photos turn out SO much better when there is a rapport between the couple and the photographer. I love getting to know my clients and trying to make their photos as unique as possible … ultimately, try to make them THEIRS. After having a wonderful engagement session in golden twilight, I couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for their wedding. They are both so nice and down to earth and trusting of my vision … I have loved every moment photographing them :) As for their wedding, wow! I am in love with Heather’s dress. LOVE. So gorgeous and so very elegant. And they got married on a boat! And the Vancouver Maritime Museum is stunningly creative and full of amazing photo opportunities … and that sky.. ohhhh that sky… today was a good day to be a Vancouver wedding photographer.
