I love when I receive weddings held at the Brix. It’s an intimate venue in the heart of Vancouver with a courtyard that many couples share their vows in. Ali and Craig’s wedding, captured by Roxana Albusel Photography is beautiful. The purple colour was carried throughout, in the decor and especially the bouquets, absolutely striking against the white and black themed wedding.

Says Roxana: “The couple and their wedding party couldn’t have been more relaxed and down to earth and excited about their big day. They literally couldn’t stop staring at each other and smiling the entire time, you could feel so much happiness radiating off of them. The wedding dress was stunning…one of the simplest and elegant ones I have yet to see .. compared to the amount of lace that usually shows up at weddings, it was refreshing to see something so simple and elegant and unique! The purple flowers added a touch of colour to the overall elegance and the sparkly jewellery added some welcomed shine . The photos were taken throughout Yaletown with lots of brick and other elegant buildings. Top it all off with a beautiful puppy named Elvis and the day couldn’t have turned out better!”
