Recently, I had the pleasure to meet Melissa and Alex and do a bridal portrait / trash the dress session with them. I have been chatting with Melissa for almost a year, so it was nice to finally meet her in person. She messaged me a while ago asking me to photograph her wedding but unfortunately I was already booked .. so imagine my happiness when she messaged me after the wedding saying she’d still like to do a photography session with me, wearing her dress, for a different eye, different perspective :) Such a wonderful compliment…

Melissa suggested we meet at McDonald Beach in Richmond, one of my favourite place for photos as it’s slightly wild and has much more of a country feel. We took some great photos of the two of them and of her dress getting slightly “trashed” .. I love the final photos in the water .. brave girl to get her dress and feet wet in March!
