Fraser River Fishing Lodge Wedding

Jamie and Aaron .. ahh, these two and their gorgeous, gorgeous, love story. I only met Jamie and Aaron a few months before their wedding and I fell in love with them and their vision for their wedding instantly. Getting married at one of my all time favourite venues? Check. Getting married in May (I LOVE May weddings!)? Check! Having great chemistry? Check. Having wonderful personalities and being incredibly easy going and trustful of my vision? Check. Having the wonderful Vancouver band The Revelers entertain the guests throughout the night? Check! An ice cream wedding cake??? Check! A hilarious bridal party? Check. Seriously, the more they described their wedding, the more in love I was with their vision and couldn’t stop looking forward to it! At the consultation, they both told me that candid moments are very important to them .. while I already shoot a LOT of candid moments at weddings as it’s one of the more important things that define my style, I told myself I would shoot a few more for Jamie and Aaron .. and I can see why they wanted them! Their family and friends are hilarious, just as warm and easygoing as them and constantly entertaining. The candid moments were easy, the candid moments were plenty. And I may have just met the most gorgeous flowers girls to date. Seriously beautiful. Jamie and Aaron, I couldn’t begin to tell you how happy I am to have met you both. Thank you, thank you, thank you for welcoming me into the most special day of your lives. And a big thank you to Katie Powell for her assistance throughout the day and beautiful images!
