Best of 2015: The Bridal Party

Best of 2015: The Bridal Party
Moving onwards with the Best of 2015 series, I now focus on the many beautiful bridal parties I had the pleasure to get to know and photograph this season as a Vancouver wedding photographer. While the wedding is first and foremost about the bride and groom, I find most of my couples do their best to include their family and friends and focus on not only the moments between the two of them but also the many moments they share with their friends throughout the day. That’s where the fun bridal party photos come in!
I always seem to have such a good balance of serious and silly photos and what’s even more awesome is when some of the funniest and the most editorial and elegant photos come from the same group! As a wedding photographer you always have to find a good balance of not focusing too much on serious photos while also not turning the entire photo process into photos that result in laughter and bloopers only. I’m really happy with the bridal party I had this year, everybody was so incredibly, friendly and so very willing to do whatever it took to get a good shot and make the bride and groom happy. There were stunning venues, jumping, jumping and more jumping, the throwing of brides and grooms in the air, showcasing sexy shoes and socks, sexy groomsmen (a lot of them!) and a lot of elegance and charm. I had a lot of fun and laughed a LOT as I revisited these images. In no particular order and jumping from funny to serious, my favourite 2015 Bridal Party photos from my 2015 Vancouver wedding photography season. Enjoy!
I’m still booking for 2016 and 2017 so give me a message soon to schedule a consultation and talk about your wedding! I love meeting people :)
