Vancouver Wedding at the Holy Rosary Cathedral

There are no words to describe the beauty of this wedding, the beauty of Jenessa and Kerry, the beauty of the relationships with their family and friends, the beauty of the bridal gowns and the groomsmen attire and the beauty of every single venue they picked for their wedding day. I loved everything about Saturday. For as long as I’ve been shooting, I dreamt of having a Vancouver wedding photography session at the Vancouver Art Gallery and of shooting a wedding at the Holy Rosary Cathedral. On Saturday, I somehow got both!

Shooting at the Holy Rosary is a dream. The cathedral is stunning and provides ample opportunities for beautiful photographs. For the bridal party portraits, we rented the third floor and took full advantage of the endless amount of white space! We even managed to take some beautiful photos outside in spite of the Vancouver drizzle. We finished the evening with a stunning reception at the Riverside Palace in Richmond.

Overall, it was a day to remember, one I’d do over again and again. Below, are some of my favourite shots from the day. I can’t get over how stunning the bride’s dress is, the colours of the groomsmen attire and the fact that the bridesmaids dresses were handmade! More to come once I get a chance to edit more ;) I can’t wait to deliver this wedding!
