I’m so glad to finally start to have time to catch up on my blogging – this year’s weddings are so lovely! I just shot my last wedding a this past weekend and now it’s editing time … and blogging! In no particular order, I start with my stunning September 22 Bloedel Conservatory wedding. Hayley was recommended to me through a friend and we hit it off right away! From the moment I met Hayley and Cory, I knew we’d have a lot of fun together and laugh and laugh and laugh.
I’ve always wanted to shoot a Bloedel Conservatory wedding and I was not disappointed. It is such a stunning place and we were constantly serenaded by the numerous birds (so cute!). Their intimate wedding had only 40 guests and almost none of the traditions at most wedding – which I loved so much (it’s nice to spice things up sometimes)! Most of all, Hayley and Cory wanted to capture the wonderful time spent with their family and friends and their vows surrounded by the luscious greens.
The reception was held at the always photogenic Four Seasons Restaurant with its magical views (and yummy food)…. and donuts! So many amazing donuts! I’ve been pretty lucky lately to have donuts at several weddings, haha.
